Not at all. The pulse welder creates a tiny spark to fuse the chain, it never touches your skin. The process takes seconds and the vast majority of clients feel nothing. It's completely safe and pain-free.

Yes. Despite the name, permanent jewelry can be removed, carefully cut the chain, or come by and we'll take it off for you in seconds. Painless either way. We can re-weld it afterward if you'd like to put it back on.

Yes, surgical stainless steel, gold filled, and sterling silver permanent jewelry is water-resistant. You can shower, swim in the ocean, and wash your hands normally. Stainless steel handles water and sweat best. For maximum longevity, avoid prolonged soaking in chlorinated pools or hot tubs.

Yes. The fine chains we use are lightweight and smooth, most clients report that they completely forget they're wearing it within a few days. You can sleep, exercise, and go about your full daily routine without any issues.

In most cases, no. The fine chains used in permanent jewelry are too small and lightweight to trigger standard airport metal detectors. Most of our clients travel regularly without any issues. However, every security setup is different, and there's always a small possibility it could trigger a more sensitive scanner.

If you need an MRI, you'll need to remove your permanent jewelry beforehand. Carefully cut the chain, it takes 2 seconds and is painless. Save the chain and bring it back to us and we'll re-weld it after your procedure.

Yes. PVD rose gold is lead- and nickel-free, and sterling silver and gold filled also hold up well for most people who react to costume metals. If you have a known metal allergy, tell us before your appointment and we'll help you pick the option that works best for you.

Your appointment is quick and relaxed. You'll browse our chain styles, pick your metal, and get custom fitted. The weld itself takes seconds. Most appointments, including browsing and fitting, are done in 15–30 minutes. Appointments are required, book online to reserve your spot.
